In the November 29, 2025 episode of Bizline on VTV4’s Vietnam Today international channel, a feature report titled “Drone Technology and the Potential for Low-Altitude Economic Development in Vietnam” captured strong audience interest. The program offered a comprehensive look at Vietnamese enterprises that are proactively researching, designing, and manufacturing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for agriculture, security monitoring and inspection, as well as a wide range of civilian and defense-related applications.
Among the companies featured, HTI Group stood out as a pioneering force in the localization of UAV technology. Its flagship product, the Horus P02 UAV, was introduced as a highly capable platform supporting mission-critical operations in demanding environments, thanks to its vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) capabilities and impressive endurance of up to 150 minutes.
Driven by a long-term vision to contribute to Vietnam’s sustainable and prosperous development through advanced science and technology, HTI Group has pursued independent mastery of core technologies from its earliest days—particularly in two strategic areas: manufacturing technologies and flight control systems. This approach enables HTI to oversee the entire R&D and production cycle, ensuring consistent product quality and the flexibility to scale solutions in alignment with real-world requirements.
During the report, Mr. Tạ Ngọc Thanh, Director of the High-Tech Development Center at HTI Group, emphasized:
“HTI Group is not only focused on the domestic market but is also proactively aligning its processes with international standards as part of our export strategy. We have developed a technical framework consistent with global norms such as the U.S. FAA Part 107 and other relevant regulations. This underscores our commitment to bringing ‘Make-in-Vietnam’ UAV products to the global stage.”
HTI Group’s appearance on Vietnam Today not only reaffirms its pioneering position in the emerging low-altitude economy but also highlights the significant potential of Vietnam’s drone technology industry on the international technology landscape.
