HTI is seeking an Embedded Engineer to join our technical team in developing Positioning Systems and Intelligent Alert Systems. This role plays a key part in the development and deployment of positioning technologies (GPS, GNSS) and smart alert systems (tracking, monitoring, incident alerts) for industrial and commercial applications such as vehicle monitoring, IoT devices, and security systems, with details as follows:

1. JOB DESCRIPTION

• Develop and maintain embedded software for GPS/GNSS positioning systems

• Design real-time alert systems using GSM, LTE, LoRa, Zigbee

• Integrate sensors and wireless communication modules (LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth)

• Optimize system performance and power consumption

• Develop monitoring applications and perform system testing and debugging

• Research and apply new technologies

• Support hardware design and ensure compliance with safety standards

• Collaborate closely with hardware and software development teams

2. JOB REQUIREMENTS

Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Automation, Computer Engineering, or related fields

• At least 1 year of experience in embedded system development with microcontrollers or microprocessors

• Proficiency in C/C++, experience with development tools such as Keil, Microchip Studio, or equivalent

• Experience with microcontroller families such as STM32, PIC, ATSAMD, ESP32, or similar

• Solid knowledge of peripheral interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet)

• Experience with RTOS (e.g. FreeRTOS, Zephyr) is a plus

• Understanding of electronic circuit design and optimization; PCB design experience is an advantage

• Strong debugging and testing skills; experience using oscilloscopes, JTAG, or logic analyzers

• Knowledge of safety standards and certification requirements in embedded systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in IoT, industrial products, automation control systems, or autonomous vehicles

• Experience with wireless protocols such as Zigbee, Bluetooth, LoRa, GSM

• Participation in product development projects from design to mass production
