We are looking for qualified professionals with strong expertise who are ready to join from the early stages and contribute to building a solid foundation for the long-term development of this field. HTI Group is currently recruiting a Construction Economics Specialist with the following details:
1. Job Description
1.1. Prepare and control total investment costs and construction budgets
- Prepare preliminary investment efficiency calculations for projects.
- Prepare preliminary total investment estimates, total investment costs, and construction cost estimates.
- Develop construction budgets and update budgets according to project phases.
- Control, review, and optimize costs throughout the project implementation process.
1.2. Bidding and tendering
- Review and prepare quantity take-offs for bidding packages.
- Prepare tender documents and shortlist contractors.
- Organize tender invitations and clarify tender documents.
- Consolidate and evaluate bidding documents.
- Negotiate prices and contract terms.
1.3. Payment and final settlement
- Manage and control payment and final settlement documents related to quantity, quality, and unit prices of bidding packages.
- Prepare payment plans and summary reports on payment status.
1.4. Reporting and other duties
- Prepare periodic and ad-hoc reports as required by managers.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by managers.
2. Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Economics, Civil Engineering, or other related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position in construction economics.
- Age: Preferably under 40 years old.
- Strong knowledge of cost estimation, bidding, contracts, payment, and final settlement.
- Good skills in preparing and appraising cost estimates.
- Willing to go on long business trips when required.
