To support the expansion and development of our product portfolio, HTI Group is looking for an experienced Head of Product Research & Development to join our team.

1. JOB DESCRIPTION

Product Research & Development

• Research market needs, emerging technologies, and product directions in the security and defense sector
• Analyze product requirements (Requirement), propose solutions, and develop product development strategies
• Lead the product development process from Concept/Requirement → Design → Prototype → Testing → Final Product
• Research, evaluate, and apply appropriate technologies, components, and technical solutions
• Coordinate with relevant departments to test, evaluate, and improve products

Technical Project Management

• Develop plans, timelines, resource allocation, and key milestones for R&D projects
• Manage and control project timeline, quality, cost, and technical performance
• Monitor and resolve technical issues and risks throughout the product development process
• Organize testing, evaluate prototypes, and finalize products before moving to the production/deployment stage

Team Management

• Manage, assign, and coordinate tasks within the R&D team
• Develop work plans, monitor performance, and evaluate team members
• Provide guidance, training, and professional development for team members
• Establish working methods, processes, and standards for product research and development activities

Reporting & Coordination

• Report project progress, research results, and arising issues to the Board of Directors
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Production teams, and external partners to implement projects
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Board of Directors

2. REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, Control Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in R&D/technical product development, with experience in team management and coordination
• Experience in developing security, defense, UAV, electronic, mechatronic products, or technical systems is preferred
• Proven experience in managing product development projects from Requirement to Prototype and final product
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and understand technical documents in English
• Strong planning, project timeline management, and cross-functional coordination skills
