On the afternoon of August 24, 2026, at HTI Group’s Hanoi headquarters, HTI Group had the honor of welcoming Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui The Duy – Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU), together with a delegation from VNU, for a visit and working session.
As part of the program, HTI Group and VNU officially signed a Cooperation Agreement, marking a new milestone in the relationship between the two parties and laying the foundation for a strategic and long-term partnership. The cooperation aims to leverage the respective strengths of VNU – one of Vietnam’s leading institutions of higher education – and HTI Group, connecting knowledge with technology and research with practical applications.

During the working session, the leaders of both sides exchanged views on their respective capabilities, strengths, development orientations, and potential areas of cooperation moving forward.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Sy Thanh – Chairman of the Board of Directors of HTI Group – expressed his appreciation for the presence of VNU’s Board of Directors, representatives of its functional departments and member units, as well as its scientists and researchers at HTI Group’s headquarters. He also expressed his hope that both sides would continue to leverage their respective strengths, jointly conduct research, and implement practical programs and projects that contribute to the development of high-value technology products and make meaningful contributions to the country.

On behalf of VNU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui The Duy – President of VNU – emphasized the importance of strengthening connections between universities and businesses in the research and development of high-tech products. In particular, given HTI Group’s development orientation and growing responsibilities in the fields of technology, security and defense, the involvement and support of scientists, research teams, and highly qualified human resources will be increasingly important.

Under the Cooperation Agreement, the two parties will collaborate on programs in scientific research, technology development, training, technology transfer, and innovation. VNU will support HTI Group throughout the research and testing process, while also contributing to the development and provision of high-quality human resources. The shared goal is to transform scientific and technological research outcomes into products with potential for practical application, technology transfer, and commercialization, thereby creating tangible value for society.
In particular, the two parties will gradually promote cooperation in key technology areas, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), Robotics, the Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data, digital transformation, and innovation.
The signing of the Cooperation Agreement represents a natural step forward in a relationship that the two parties have built and nurtured over many years. From activities such as sponsoring equipment for teaching and learning, providing scholarships to students, and participating in Job Fairs, to discussions on research and technology development, VNU and HTI Group have increasingly identified common ground in their development orientations and cooperation needs.
VNU brings strong capabilities in education and training, scientific research, a broad network of experts, and highly qualified human resources, while HTI Group seeks to translate research into practical applications, develop products, and commercialize technological outcomes. This provides a strong foundation for both parties to explore deeper and more substantive areas of cooperation.
Therefore, the signing of the Cooperation Agreement not only recognizes the relationship that the two parties have built over time, but also opens a new chapter in which they can jointly research, jointly develop, and bring knowledge and technology into practice – creating valuable products and solutions while making meaningful contributions to the country.
HTI Group sincerely thanks the Board of Directors of VNU, scientists, researchers, and faculty members for their valuable time, trust, and support in visiting and working with HTI Group.
HTI Group firmly believes that, by bringing together knowledge, technology, human resources, research capabilities, and business strength, the partnership between VNU and HTI Group will continue to grow stronger, generating more valuable research projects, technology products, and initiatives that make meaningful contributions to the University, businesses, and the development of the country.
